From The Head Of The Department

With every business and organization going digital, the IT sector today is a booming field as compared to other sectors and there is a huge demand of Computer Science Engineers and programmers. However, engineers who have pursued CSE will have an edge over engineers from other streams because of the knowledge and skills they gather in college. There is a huge scope of placements in CSE. In fact, it has taken the top position in placements as compared to the other fields. GWCET is one of the premier college in and around Nagpur region and is moving towards the goal of providing innovative and quality education with high standards to achieve academic excellence. It’s my pleasure to lead the department of CSE. The main objective of department is to develop the students both personally and professionally to achieve successful career in Industry, Research and Academics. The department has excellent infrastructure, well equipped laboratories. Innovative methods of teaching and learning process are adopted to achieve learning abilities through practice, exposure and motivation. Department also conducts student activities to improve their leadership qualities and technical skills. Faculty are also provided with a platform to upgrade their academic and technical skills by encouraging them to enhance their qualifications and also learn new technologies by participating in FDP’s, workshops, conferences and seminars. I feel it as a privilege to lead this department and also congratulate the faculty and students for their excellent performance. I will put all my efforts and give my best for the overall development of the department.
